Shell Oil China OBM Drilling Waste Management Project
The drilling waste management system including cuttings dryer ,high speed decanter centrifuge ,catch tank,screw feed pump were in operation in Shell Oil China OBM drilling waste management job site. from 6th,May 2012 to 21 th ,May 2012, totally 15days 85 hours. During this period, the well depths was drilled from 3110m to 3680m.rock physical character is argillaceous sandstone, oil based drilling fluids is adopted.This system has got efficient performance on drilling cuttings drying, after treatment the oil on cuttings (by weight) dropped from 15% to 4.4%, successfully recovered 60m³drilling fluids. The lost of drilling fluids is saved, the environment is protected, the expense on treating the drilling waste is minimized.
This system is designed reasonable, function well equipped and compact in space covering, is the most suitable system for narrow space rig site. Installation, operation easy and low maintenance rate, complete with all safety and warning mark, satisfy HSE requirement.
The system operate steady with low vibration and noise, suitable for oil drilling rig environment, worthy of wide marketing and spread use value.
